Rules are meant to be broken

Since starting my blog, I've tried to learn a few "cardinal rules of blogging".
One rule that has been repeated to me a few times is "post often, or people will quickly lose interest".

I broke the rule.

From checking on my site stats, it seems that my readership has in fact declined *dramitcally.

Sorry about that. Thanks for sticking with me. I'll try to reward you with a wonderful array of super entertainment.

Two other rules that I have been told are:
"Don't post just for the sake of posting"
and
"Don't write about your own blog"

Unfortunately, it seems that by posting this, I have trasgressed twice more.

I promise to be on my best behaviour this month.

Can you forgive me?


*Reader's note: I should admit that the word "dramatically" might be slighly misleading. It is true that average visits / day has dropped by 60% since the end of December. Unfortunately, that only amounts to an absolute decline of 6 visits / day. (ie if you are reading this blog, you should consider yourself unique, because you're one of very few who is doing so).
